The following awards were given out at this tournament. Congratulations to all these teams for a job well done.
Champions' Award
10036 Yellow Brick Road
I am not sure if you know this about me, I love movies. I particularly love movies that allow great teams to overcome huge obstacles. Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, I could go on. In one of my favorite movies, Dorothy, Toto, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion leveraged their strengths and became a truly great team. As you all remember, during their journey, they were told to follow the Yellow Brick Road. I think that is good advice for us today. Team 10036 Yellow Brick Road we can't wait to follow you to State as our Champion.

First Advancing Team
14473 Aquatic Avengers
I am shy to admit that I love Karaoke. There are very few things that can make an experience more memorable than a song. For this advancing team, I think I have some kindred spirits who showed a courageous willingness to sing as part of their terrific project performance today. And make no mistake, they helped make today even more memorable. Let me call them out ... Team 14473 "Aquatic Avengers Assemble!!!"
Second Advancing Team
29488 To Be Determined
One of the greatest things about these FIRST events is you get to see teams with awesome names. Sometimes these team names match their spirit. Combustible Lemons and Flourish & Bots come to mind. Other times they don't. In the case of this advancing team, the team's name doesn't fit at all, because we have DETERMINED that they should go to State ... Team 29488 To Be Determined.
Third Advancing Team
7515 Hardware
Our first advancing team allows us to highlight something special about FIRST. As we say all of the time, FIRST is more than just the robots. It is truly about people working together in the spirit of gracious professionalism. And despite the fact that we say that FIRST is more than just the hardware, our first advancing team's name shows how a team can be successful in robotics design and so much more ... let's congratulate Team 7515 Hardware.
Fourth Advancing Team
